2008 sees the return of the awesome GRP Irish Challenge to be hosted by the BAD MCC over in Ireland. Last year there was some very close racing and lots of smiles with Richard Barton making the trip from the UK to win the meeting, can the locals get their revenge this year?

For the event there will be open practice on friday 29th August to give anyone travelling a chance to get to know the track.

A controlled tyre will be in use which will be a GRP Atomic. One set of tyres are included in the entry fee.

Depending on weather conditions the GRP Cone Spike tyre will be allowed if its wet, these will be available at the track for purchase.The cone spike tyre will only be used at the discretion of the race officals.

Entry fee for buggy is set at £30 and truggy £40

Please make sure for truggy you fill in the offset box as mistakes will be the responsibility of the driver.



On to the race day on Saturday 30th there will be 4 of 5 rounds of qualifying, each will be 10 mins heats running to mainly EFRA rules.

Sunday 31st will have 1 round of practice then round 5 of qualifying.

Finals will start there after with everyone receiving at least a 20 min run. Semis or B final will be 30 mins depending on the number of total race entries with the A main being 60 mins

Truggy will run 10 min qualifying runs with A main being 30 mins.

As im sure you have noticed one thing we will guarantee you is a lot of track time .



On the Saturday the club will hold a free barbecue for all racers who wish to attend.
