HPI Baja Challenge UK 2008
The HPI Baja endurance challenge has been born from the endurance success of the mighty HPI Baja travelling through Iceland.The Baja 5B has taken the 1:5 market by storm; opening the world of large scale to a new RTR market and more with the SS'. With its desert racer looks and extreme performance to match, the Baja 5B was a winner to start. ![]() The UK HPI Baja Challenge will be a 3 round championship, with the winner(s) being invited to take part in the HPI Baja Endurance Challenge in Spain during September! All three rounds points count towards your overall score and qualification. The meetings will naturally be for HPI Baja's only (26cc limit), with a maximum of 60 drivers allowed, so get in fast! Standard large scale BRCA rules apply - The Baja SS tuned Pipe being the only exception. Mirage will be awarding the team that goes to the finals in Spain a New Baja SS specifically for use in the Endurance event! The tracks and dates are as follows: Warstone Raceway, Stratford upon Avon: 25th May 08' Image courtesy of SB Racing ![]() ![]() Warstone is a very fast but bumpy dirt track based on an airfield location near Stratford. It has loads of parking and camping space if needed. Camping will be payable on site at a rate of £5.00 Warstone's Forum Novarossi Raceway, Essex: 29th June 08' Image courtesy of Sundon Model Shop ![]() ![]() The Novarossi Raceway has undergone a complete rebuild and will cater for the Baja's without a problem on this purpose built track. The part of the track that stands out has to be the massive crossover! Parking is available close to the track with a small amount of camping area so please contact the track if you would like to take advantage of this. Pitting is covered and the cafe will be open for the event.
